The story of Mira and her Immortelle Magic Cream is one of perseverance, passion, and innovation. It is a story about the despair of a mother, the perseverance of a warrior and the determination of a family hero to find a solution for his little daughter
Our Story
It all started a couple of years ago, when Mira’s daughter Tara was diagnosed with eczema and allergies to store-bought skin creams. Mira, being a chemist at a children’s hospital, was determined to find a solution to alleviate her daughter’s pain.
Mira started researching formulas for producing natural skin care creams. Her research led her to the birthplace of the great scientist, Nikola Tesla – Smiljan. While visiting Smiljan, Mira came across a tale of ointment that was used to treat rashes back in the late 1800s. She became obsessed with the idea that this recipe could work for her daughter and began experimenting with the formula in her home lab.
Mira spent the next 6 months working on her own recipes, and after several failed attempts, she finally found one that worked. And so, Immortelle Magic Cream was born. This cream was made with all-natural ingredients and it proved to be a game-changer for her daughter’s skin condition.
Besides her family, Mira had a passion for helping others with their skin problems. She began researching homemade skin care formulas and started sharing her product with friends who also had trouble finding a real natural skin cream. However, Mira’s boss at the hospital laboratory was not understanding of her experiments, and forbade her to develop the cream on the equipment at work, which made things difficult for her.
After much deliberation, and with anxiety and fear in her heart, but with firm faith in what she is doing, Mira decided to take a leap of faith and quit her job at the hospital. She started making and selling magic salves online from her home full time. Together with her husband Darko, they opened a family-owned company for the production of handmade natural skin care products, Mountain Pastures, which credo is:
“We recognize how difficult it is to find quality, natural skin care cream, and we knew that you deserve it.”
Mira’s visit to Smiljan, the birthplace of Nikola Tesla, played a significant role in the creation of Immortelle Magic Cream. This place had a special emotional connection to her, and she felt that she was able to channel the innovative spirit of Tesla in her own work. Smiljan is a small village in Croatia, and it was there where Tesla’s father, a Serbian Orthodox priest, was born. The village has a museum dedicated to Tesla, and it was there where Mira discovered the story about ointment that inspired her to create her own cream. After all, if that ointment was good for the genius Nikola Tesla and his family, it will be good for my family, too. She thought so.
